In 2011 we are proud to offer a newly added CSA program that is tailored to restaurants. These deliveries will offer larger order sizes and the orders will focus on vegetables that are in high demand by the local foodies out there. The earlier we get contacted by the restaurants the easier it will be for us to accomodate any special requests.
Vista Bella Farm is taking advance orders on the following trees: Apple: LIBERTY on EM26a 1YR. Pear: BARTLETT on OHXF333 2YR, BOSC on OHXF333 2YR. Cherry: STELLA on COLT 1YR. Plum: BURBANK on MYR 1YR, EARLY GOLDEN on MYR 1YR, STANLEY on MYR 1YR. Peach: REDHAVEN 2YR. Prices are dependent on the number of trees desired. Early orders are cheaper than in season purchases. You also must come get the trees at the farm.

Preparations have started for 2011!
We are just beginning to put in our seed orders for this growing season. We are looking especially forward to working with plastic mulch as a weed barrier this season because we had a pond completed in the fall and it will be able to provide environmentally friendly irrigation measures. Our cold storage will finally be up and running this summer which will enable us to store our produce properly to ensure it’s quality. As well, all of our customer feedback has been generated and considered for this upcoming growing season. We are planning for a successful season filled with a plethora of consistent and high quality produce for our customers. Like always, we will aim to grow as sustainably as possible with a spray free commitment to agricultural practices. This season we will be hiring two employees. One part time and one full time employee to assist with seeding, transplanting, harvesting and cleaning our produce, preparing the fields and other farm related tasks. If this is something you may be interested please contact us for further information.
