New CSA Information Available!
Our list of services and share options are available on our
web site under the CSA tab in the menu. There are shares and half
shares available in the Halifax, Truro, and Tatamagouche area.
In 2010 we've decided to maintain a blog in an effort to give CSA members a more direct way of keeping in touch with delivery information. The blog will allow us to keep more recipes available to our members, faster uploading of pictures of the fields/farm, while keeping you posted about the new project that highlights a different local farmer's product available to order weekly through our CSA delivery program.
The greenhouse is standing up well to the elements so far, and we're excited about having it up and running earlier this year. Our goal is to provide local food options as many months of the year as possible. We're changing fields this year, adding efficient watering systems, and continuing our comitment to spray free produce.

Welcome to the new Vista Bella Farm Web site!
Hello everyone and welcome to the new and improved Vista Bella Farm Homepage. We're getting pretty excited about the 2010 season and all of the work, and wholesome food that is sure to come. We're changing a lot of our cultivars this year in an effort to keep people interested in new and exciting vegetables. Through information collected from surveys of our customer's needs we are also planning a larger patch of traditional vegetables. This is to make sure those who like their traditional vegetables along with their oddities will also be quite happy with what we have to offer.

Feel free to explore some of our most plentiful veggies for health facts, recipes as well as to keep track of what varieties we grow, and how we're growing them. At Vista Bella Farm it is important to us that we maintain transparent and accountable for our production practices and we're more than happy to discuss the rationale behind them to anyone interested in talking with us.
